Auctioneer’s note - We are excited to be selling the estate of Joyce and Bill Robbins; Mr. Robbins was
a nationally known TV producer and, director.  He produced the first 1960’s televised presidential
debate between Kennedy and Nixon (he repeatedly tried to get Nixon to wear makeup on camera but
Nixon refused and Kennedy won)!  They had many friends through the years including designers and
artists, and it shows in this wonderful collection of mid-century modern furniture, art, and
accessories. Other estates we are pleased to sell include: Rosemary Shelley of Cedarburg, Michael

Mondrian (possibly custom designed for the Robbins family by Eames). Dunbar sofa, armchair and
stool. 50’s admiral console TV, radio and record player. 60’s marble top double-door entry cabinet
w/mirror. Late 50’s, early 60’s marble top coffee table. Set of 3 tile top Charles Eames-style side
